The countdown is on! My PPC Freelance Foundations course is going live for early bird sign-ups on June 16th. For everyone else, the course will be available on July 14th!
This course is meant for folks who have PPC expertise and are looking to use that expertise to create their own freelance business. I’ve learned a lot in the past year and a half of running my business, so I wanted to share those learnings with you!
I had this idea back in December 2024 and made it my big project for 2025. I’ve been working on the course since January, and I can’t believe it’s almost time to put it out into the world!
Some quick BTS updates
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been filming, editing, refining, and getting this course close to the finish line. A few notable updates:
The course will be hosted on Podia — it’s simple, easy to use, and makes navigating the course way less clunky. It also has email marketing capabilities, which is important.
Modules 1 and 2 are fully filmed and edited! I used Riverside.fm for this, and it’s been so easy to film and edit! Funny side note - while editing, I’ve noticed that my cat made several appearances. So you get some bonus cat content!
Module 3 is nearly done
All the content is written and finalized — it’s been mapped out for a while, but I revisited quite a bit because I wanted to make sure I encapsulated everything and it flowed coherently. Seriously, the course outline was the hardest part!
Resources + templates are done and ready for you to swipe and use. I have a huge Google Sheet for the course resources, which you can duplicate and use interactively.
I’m getting the bonus content put together for folks who sign up for the waitlist - this includes a monthly business tracker, my updated list of tools that I use (and how I use them), client proposal template, a continuing education guide outlining my favorite creators and newsletters that help me run my business, and an additional video on how I structure my week managing multiple clients and projects.
The course is designed to be action-oriented, with tangible steps that you can start implementing as you plan your freelance business (or are in the process of scaling your existing business).
Early bird waitlist sign-ups close on June 9th!
If you haven’t joined the waitlist, you can sign up by taking this brief survey. This helps me learn more about what’s important to you and what you’re looking to get out of this course.
I’ve already taken into account the feedback I’ve received so far. Thank you to everyone who has signed up!
Additional perks of signing up for the waitlist include:
You get early access!
You get a 30% off discount
Additional bonus content and resources (see above)
Course module sneak peek
I meant to keep this more of a secret, but I can’t help myself. Here’s a look at what the course contains.
There are 7 modules - some have more lessons than others, but they intentionally build on each other.
Module 1: Welcome + Business Foundations - this sets the tone for the entire course to follow. I cover determining your service offering/positioning (this is referenced in pretty much every module that follows), how to price your services, how to plan for going freelance, whether you need an LLC, etc.
Module 2: Finding Freelance Clients - my system for acquiring clients without cold outreach or traditional sales tactics. This includes how to leverage your existing network and thoughtfully expand your network.
Module 3: LinkedIn Content Strategy - LinkedIn profile optimizations, content creation and idea generation tips, how to structure your posts, etc.
Module 4: Running discovery calls + closing deals - My process and structure for conducting my own sales calls and effectively closing clients. I include screenshots of the lead-up to the call and the follow-up.
Module 5: New client onboarding - This is one of the most important parts when it comes to retaining clients, so I wanted to make sure this was included in the course. I outline my onboarding processes and procedures, along with my 90-day plan that I share with clients.
Module 6: Running your freelance business - It’s a balance between working on your business and working in client accounts. This module covers everything you need to think about + resources to make the process easier.
Module 7: Wrapping up and next steps - This module ties together all of the key learnings from the preceding modules and provides things that you can do to start making progress toward launching/scaling your freelance business.
As you can probably tell, I’m pretty excited for this launch!
That’s all for this week. I’ll keep plugging away at filming and editing! 🫡
